1984年,當時的高雄港,是亞洲最繁忙的港口之一。來自世界各地的船員、商人與旅客穿梭於這座城市,也為港都帶來了多元文化與國際視野。
19歲的Amy,在高雄七賢路創立了 Amy’s Beer House 活力啤酒屋。那不只是一家餐廳,更是一個讓人交流、分享與相聚的地方。每天來自不同國家的人們圍坐在同一張餐桌上,分享故事、文化與人生,也讓Amy深刻體會到:美食能跨越語言,餐桌能拉近人與人的距離。
這份信念,成為日後冒煙的喬最重要的核心價值
In 1984, Kaohsiung Harbor was one of the busiest ports in Asia. Sailors, merchants, and travelers from around the world passed through the city, bringing with them diverse cultures, stories, and perspectives.
At the age of nineteen, Amy founded Amy’s Beer House on Chih-Hsien Road in Kaohsiung. It was more than a restaurant—it was a place where people gathered, connected, and shared experiences. Every day, guests from different countries sat around the same table, exchanging stories, cultures, and moments of life.
It was here that Amy discovered a simple yet powerful truth: Food transcends language, and a shared table brings people closer together. That belief would later become the foundation of Smokey Joe’s.
